This study aimed to explore the effectiveness of case management practices through pilot casemanagement for multicultural families in multicultural family support centers, and to explore thedirection of the case management model. In order to do this, we analyzed experiences obtained incase management of multi-cultural families through focus group interviews aimed at practitionerswho participated in pilot projects. The results are as follows:First, when asked about multicultural case management, the case managers were initiallyconfused about the concept of case management and its purpose, but came to understand theconcept over time.Secondly, the qualities of a multicultural family case manager have been clarified througheducation and supervision for the case managers.Thirdly, case managers experienced difficulties in selecting subjects for the process ofmulticultural family case management, and the lack of understanding of the process and scarceopportunities to practice case management led to the difficulty and complexity in documentation.
